Typography Speedrun

We support based bold and italic tags, even if semantic doesn’t recommend it. You can apply .b and .i for either.

We also support strikethrough, underline through .st and .u

Headers

We don’t really love six different font sizes for headers.

Instead, h1 and h2 are 1.50rem and h3 is 1.25rem. H4 is 1.00rem but bolded, and h5 and h6 haven’t been used by anyone on the internet ever.

Are there exceptions?

No.

Paragraphs

Within semantic HTML (.sem), paragraphs will be automatically contained when within a section, and will automatically have a bottom margin of 1rem - ie the size of the root font-size.

Links

We’re still working on what’s best for links.

I don’t think that I’ve ever wanted underlined links but I guess that can be something controlled via CSS vars.
